Prime Minister Imran Khan emphasised the role of the public in curbing the spread of Covid-19 by adopting precautionary measures, according to Radio Pakistan.

Chairing a meeting in Islamabad reviewing the country's outbreak, the premier said that the government was taking all the steps to protect the people from the virus.

He also directed officials concerned to review Covid-19 facilities at hospitals in their respective areas and ensure that the public was following standard operating procedures for curbing the spread of the virus.
