Balochistan government spokesperson Liaquat Shahwani has said that if lockdown would have been extended, the number of households dependent on authorities would have increased.

He said that relaxations were introduced in some sectors so that the lower-income class members can continue earning.

Shahwani said that several sectors were still closed and the government was taking all the measures it could. People were not being allowed to enter government offices without wearing a mask. He urged the people to "take responsibility of their lives".
