Gilgit Baltistan's tally has crossed the 1,000 mark as the region reported 44 new cases, the government's Covid-19 portal said. Islamabad's number reached 6,236 as 273 new cases emerged in the capital.

Collectively, GB, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Islamabad have reported 361 new cases. AJK reported 44 new cases, taking its total number to 488.

The capital also reported five new deaths.
