Sindh government spokesperson Murtaza Wahab while referring to the World Health Organisation's (WHO) opposition to Pakistan lifting its coronavirus lockdown has said that the country's leadership should "get serious now because WHO is not a PPP organisation".
Speaking to Shahzeb Khanzada on his programme on Geo News, Wahab said the situation in the entire country is "very alarming" at the moment and the same was pointed out by the WHO.
"We had to enforce an effective lockdown. And Sindh government, our Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah raised concerns about the ineffective lockdown for weeks in NCOC. He told this to [Prime Minister] Imran Khan personally."
