Sindh has reported 1,447 Covid-19 cases and 29 deaths over the past 24 hours, according to Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

Giving his daily briefing on the province's coronavirus numbers, the chief minister said that 8,513 tests were carried out, which is the highest number so far. Out of these, 1,447 came back positive, he added.

With the new cases, Sindh's tally has risen to 39,555 while the death toll has risen to 679.
