Sixty-seven public transport drivers have been detained in Karachi under Section 188 for violating the government-mandated standard operating procedures (SOPs), according to a spokesperson of the city's traffic police.

The traffic police "heavily fined" these individuals and booked their vehicles under motor vehicle laws, the spokesperson added.
