A spokesperson for the Karachi police has said that six policemen have passed away from coronavirus while 250 have tested positive.

The spokesperson added that 40 policemen have recovered from the virus and have started performing their duties again.

The policemen are performing their role in protecting citizens from the coronavirus and ensuring that standard operating procedures are followed, the spokesperson said.
