Pakistan Railways has announced that it will refund previously purchased tickets, provided they were purchased before the Covid-19 lockdown travel restrictions were imposed, according to a railways spokesperson.

"Anyone who purchased their ticket before the lockdown was imposed and couldn't travel can now ask for an immediate refund," the official said in a statement.

The refund can be collected from the nearest train station or the ticket booking office.
