A pharmaceutical company in Bangladesh, Beximco has sent Bemsivir — the world's first approved generic Remdesivir for critically ill coronavirus patients in Pakistan.

According to The Daily Star, a spokesperson for the company said that they sent 48 vials/injections of the medicine on "humanitarian grounds" after a request from the Pakistani High Commission in Dhaka.
