The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has extended the province-wide state of emergency until August 10, 2020, in view of the coronavirus pandemic.

A notification issued by the KP health department said the decision was taken on the advice of the director general of KP Health Services and two eminent epidemiologists, and with the approval of the KP chief minister.
