Punjab's Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department has reported 1,140 new coronavirus cases, taking the provincial tally to 24,104.

It has also reported 29 additional deaths for the second consecutive day. The total fatalities from the virus have risen to 439.

According to the department, 6,057 people have recovered while 228,415 tests have been conducted so far.
