Three more coronavirus patients passed away in Hyderabad's Liaquat University Hospital (LUH), taking the total number of Covid-19 deaths in the city to 31.

One of the patients was a resident of Naushahro Feroze and was initially admitted in LUH’s high dependency unit. He was later transferred to the hospital's Covid-19 ward after testing positive for the virus, according to LUH's medical superintendent.

Among the other two patients who died, one was a local shopkeeper and the other one was a 62-year-old man from the city, according to LUH’s focal person on coronavirus, Dr Aftab Hussain.
