Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has confirmed 699 new coronavirus cases, taking the provincial tally to 24,206.

He added that six more people lost their lives to the virus in the last 24 hours, taking the total deaths to 380.

The chief minister said that 235 patients are in critical condition while 42 are on ventilators.

The number of recovered people has risen to 9,270, he added.
