Punjab's Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department has reported 827 new coronavirus cases for May 23, taking the provincial tally to 19,557.

It has also reported eight more fatalities. The death toll in the province from Covid-19 has risen to 332.

According to the department, 78 patients are in critical condition while 6,050 have recovered. A total of 197,225 tests have been conducted in the province so far.
