Things can get much worse if precautions aren't followed: SAPM Mirza

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr Zafar Mirza has said that reports [tracking the virus] from the past week are not satisfactory.

"If people do not follow precautions, the number of cases can increase even more," he said.

"You are being told repeatedly through the media that the virus can be curbed if you follow precautionary measures. People using public transport or going into shops should wear masks. You don't have a choice."

"I urge you to keep going about your business but take precautions."
