The number of cases in Pakistan crossed the 50,000 mark after a record 3,300 infections emerged across the country on May 21.

• Punjab: 1,770

• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 340

• Balochistan: 106

• Islamabad: 91

• Gilgit Baltistan: 23

• Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 10
