Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the coming year is not just a challenge for Pakistan but for the entire world.

"[When the pandemic hit] every country looked within and became insular. But ultimately we are all connected and the response has to be global."

He added that he has spoken to the leaders of Nigeria, Ethiopia and Egypt and they had informed him that they were facing similar issues such as drop in exports and revenue.
