The Sindh government has introduced an exception for "family members residing in the same household" in the ban on pillion riding.

According to the notification, there shall be "no exception for law enforcement agencies, journalists/media persons, coworkers, office staff, etc".

It added that the rationale behind allowing family members to travel together is that they have the same exposure to the virus and are not at more risk when sitting together.
