The government has decided to convene another session of the National Assembly on June 5, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Parliamentary Affairs Babar Awan has said.

He added that the 2021 budget will be presented in the NA during the session and "lawmaking will be done". The session will also discuss amendments to the Anti-Money Laundering Act 2010.

"It will be the longest session in the country's history," Awan said, adding that the session will start at 4pm on June 5 and continue till August 13.
