Number of cases in Islamabad has crossed 1,000 as the capital and federal territories collectively recorded 50 more, the government's Covid-19 portal said.

Islamabad detected 1,034 cases, while Gilgit-Baltistan has recorded 10 and Azad Jammu and Kashmir reported three.

The capital also reported two deaths.
