Russia has reported 10,598 new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus, pushing its nationwide case tally to 262,843, according to Reuters.

Russia’s coronavirus taskforce said 113 people had died over the last 24 hours, bringing the official death toll from the virus to 2,418.
