PML-N Senator Ghous Khan Niazi has stressed the need to devise a uniform policy to tackle the coronavirus crisis.

"We do not have objections regarding a lockdown or no lockdown, we just want a uniform policy," he said, adding that the issue should not be politicised.

He said that the coronavirus "will last for years" and the government's contradictory policies are giving rise to an "environment of fear".
