Senator Babar Awan has called for constituting a post-coronavirus policy. He said that the government would take into consideration all suggestions made by the opposition parties.

He refuted claims that the government wanted a reversal of the 18th Amendment, and said that "propaganda" should be stopped.

Responding to JI Senator Sirajul Haq's allegations that bodies of those who died because of Covid-19 were disrespected, he asked him for proof and said that the government would hold any such people accountable.
