Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood has dismissed claims that the centre has not helped provinces, by saying that the 18th Amendment has granted autonomy to provinces.

He said that the 18th Amendment is a law, adding that there is always room for improvement.

"This attitude is not right," he said.
