Sindh health minister Dr Azra Pechuho has said that the Sindh government is "very concerned" about healthcare workers dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking during a videoconference with other provincial health ministers and the premier's adviser on health Dr Zafar Mirza, she said that with the easing of the lockdown the pressure on doctors would increase.

She said the Sindh government believed that protection of healthcare workers was its responsibility. "We are always ready for their support," she added.
