LARKANA, Sept 6: People from Gaibidero, the ancestral village of Nawab Shabbir Ahmed Chandio, held a demonstration outside the Qambar press club on Monday in protest against the arrest of Suleman Chandio. The PPP leaders said the Qambar SHO had detained Suleman and pressurized him to ask his mother Zulekhan and cousin Gulan Chandio, councillors from Gaibidero union council, to vote for a pro-government candidate in nazims’ election.—Correspondent
