Federal Minister of Economic Affairs Hammad Azhar says the influx of Pakistanis through the Taftan border at the start of the coronavirus crisis should not be blamed for the pandemic.

He said the virus is striking every country in the world. "Did Taftan infect China? Did Taftan infect other countries?" he asked.

Addressing PML-N's Khawaja Asif, he said all the developing nations in the world are currently under 'smart lockdowns'.

"These countries and we are making decisions based on data and data alone."
