Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Pakistan's infection and growth rate is different as compared to Europe and the United States.

"Our curve is slower and flatter as compared to theirs which is always exponential growth. However, a flat curve means that no one can predict when the outbreak will peak.

"Therefore, we cannot afford to have a prolonged lockdown. We require a unified strategy to tackle this crisis," he said.
