Pakistan has recorded 50 new cases of the novel coronavirus of which 38 have been detected in Islamabad and 12 in Gilgit Baltistan, the government's Covid-19 portal said.

The total number of cases across the country is now 30,466.

One death has been recorded in Islamabad as well, taking the national death toll to 662.
