A minor girl who was suffering from multiple pre-existing health problems died of Covid-19 during treatment at Karachi's National Institute of Child Health (NICH), according to the hospital administration.

Dr Jamal Raza, the head of NICH, told Dawn that the three-year-old child was shifted to the hospital on Thursday in a morbid condition with pre-existing conditions. She passed away on Saturday morning after testing positive for the coronavirus, he added.
