Sindh Information Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah says the federal government should provide financial assistance to small traders rather than offering them loans to mitigate the economic fallout of the coronavirus crisis.

Speaking to reporters in Karachi, he praised the role of the business community in the progress and development of the national economy.

He stressed that lockdown was a "compulsion" of the Sindh government because it valued nothing more than human lives.
