‘Banker’ booked for beating up woman in Karachi

KARACHI: The Saddar police on Thursday registered a case against a suspected banker on charges of beating up a woman banker after an accident on Sharea Faisal near the FTC building.

According to an FIR (189/2020), the woman complainant said that two days back she was returning home in her car after work at a private bank. When she reached near the FTC building, a car coming from behind suddenly hit her vehicle. The car went out of her control and halted at a short distance.

The complainant said she was examining the back of her car to assess the possible damages to it. In the meantime, a man arrived there and started beating her. The suspect wore a card of the National Bank of Pakistan. The suspect was identified as Mohammed Naeem.
