President Arif Alvi has said that the crisis triggered by the coronavirus pandemic is a "stark reminder that no country can overcome challenges alone".

"A global challenge requires a global response which is rooted in solidarity, international cooperation and respect for multilateralism," he told a special online summit of the heads of state and government of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) member states.
