Sindh Information Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has called out the federal government's "double standards" in enforcing a lockdown.

Speaking at a press conference in Karachi, he said that on the one hand Prime Minister Imran Khan said "elites enforced the lockdown" while on the other the federal government itself announced the lockdown and then its extension.

"They later talked about the benefits of lockdown and said that it was effective in reducing the number of cases. These are their double standards," Shah added.
