Medical colleges entrance test

LAHORE, Sept 4: The entrance test for admission to medical colleges would be held at five centres in Punjab on Oct 2, King Edward Medical College principal Prof Mumtaz said on Sunday.

He said tests would be held at five centres — Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur and Rawalpindi — at 9am. The candidates were required to pass the test with a minimum 40 per cent marks, he said. The result would be announced on Oct 9.

The candidates are required to submit their admit cards, personal data sheets duly filled in, along with attested copies of matriculation, FSc and in case of qualification other than FSc an equivalent certificate from their board committee of chairmen. Copies of certificates against which equivalence was claimed with a domicile certificate and Rs700 fee should be deposited from Sept 5 to 21.

The cards can be submitted from 8.30am to 2.30pm during working days (till 12 noon on Fridays) at any of the following places: the KEMC, Lahore; the Rawalpindi Medical College, Bahawalpur; the Nishter Medical College, Multan; the Punjab Medical College, Faisalabad; and the Quaid-i-Azam Medical College, Bahawalpur.—APP
