News anchor in Lahore shares his experience of being diagnosed with virus
A news anchor at a private television channel in Lahore has shared his account of recovering from the novel coronavirus, saying that he decided to get tested after experiencing a sore throat and mild flu, that persisted despite medication.
After the results came positive, the anchor said that he was admitted to the Jinnah Hospital, where he was provided with adequate treatment and care. He tested negative on the fifth day. He was tested again two days later, and the results came negative again after which he discharged and was advised to quarantine himself for another week.
He urged the public to take precautions, saying that the virus can be fatal.
