The Punjab health department has clarified that the restrictions under its order extending the partial lockdown in the province do not apply to pushcart vendors.

Vendors selling fruits, vegetables and other products in the streets are not required to follow specific timings under the order, the department said in a statement.

It added that poor residents have been given every facility possible under the lockdown orders.
