India's attempt to link Muslims to outbreak has failed: DG ISPR

Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Maj Gen Babar Iftikhar said that India's attempt to connect Muslims and Pakistan to the spread of the coronavirus has failed.

Addressing a press conference, he said: "At a time when the entire world is fighting the coronavirus, extremists in India have proved the country is promoting Hindutva and saffron terrorism.

"Saffronisation of the Indian military and polity is a sad spectre and ill-suited during the current circumstances," he said.
