Doctors, who are on the frontline in the fight against the novel coronavirus, have been deprived of basic protective equipment, JI chief Sirajul Haq has said.

Haq criticised the government for not providing protection to doctors, adding that some doctors have gone on a hunger strike.

"If doctors are exposed, how will they help patients?" he asked.
