YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki has said that the video platform will remove any content pertaining to the novel coronavirus which is against the recommendations of the World Health Organisation.

Wojcicki said that YouTube has had to update its policy "numerous times" in order to tackle "medically unsubstantiated" information posted by users.

"Anything that would go against World Health Organisation recommendations would be a violation of our policy," she said.
