Religious leaders have voiced their support for Prime Minister Imran Khan's lockdown strategy during the coronavirus outbreak, Radio Pakistan reported.

A delegation of religious scholars called on the premier in Islamabad and assured him regarding the full implementation of the precautionary measures announced by the government.

The country's religious scholars and leaders said that Imran's stance regarding the lockdown was a realistic approach and according ground realities.
