Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said the eight coronavirus fatalities that occurred during the past 24 hours was the highest number reported in the province so far.

"This is the highest number we have had since the virus claimed its first life on March 19. The total number of deaths account for 2.1 per cent of the cases in the province," he said.
