KHAIRPUR: Water theft case against 13 registered
KHAIRPUR, Sept 2: The SDO of irrigation, Faiz Ganj, registered a case at the Faiz Ganj police station against 13 growers on Thursday night for the alleged involvement in stealing water by breaking watercourse of Weho Wah, Faiz Ganj taluka, at RD-40 to RD-100.
Allah Wasayo, Hizbullah, Shahnawaz, Younus, Rustam Ali and others have been nominated in the FIR.
FIR: Game watchman Hazar Khan Buriro registered a case at the police station of Soorah here on Friday against five people, and alleged that they had assaulted him.
He has stated in the FIR that the five accused were illegally hunting deer and other birds from Miran-jo-Kawan Waro Kohu the hunt place, when the complainant forbade them from doing so, they beat him up and also tore his uniform.
The accused persons included Ai Mohammad Ujjan, Ali Raza Mallah, Illahi Bux Mallah, Mithal, Dilbar and one other. No arrest has been made so far.
SHO SUSPENDED: The Regional Police Officer of Sukkur has suspended one SHO and transferred one TPO here on Friday.
According to details, the RPO suspended Imdad Ali Mallah, SHO of the B-section police station, Khairpur, under different allegations and also directed him to report to the Police Lines. The suspended SHO it is reported had registered Samina’s kidnapping case against some Muttahida Qaumi Movement workers.
Two advisers of the Sindh Chief Minister — Ashfaq Mangi and Musarrat Aziz — visited the B-section police station, Khairpur, on Thursday night regarding arrest of three MQM workers namely Ghulam Nabi alias Papoo, Shahid alias Tota and Abid and got them released from the police custody.
The advisers then informed the Sindh home minister about it after which the SHO has been suspended.
The RPO of Sukkur transferred Shaukat Ali Mallah, TPO of Kotdiji, and directed him to report to the RPO office.
Rabnawaz Rajpar has been appointed as new SHO of the Kotdigi police station and Ghulam Shabbir Arejo as the SHO of Tando Masti police station.
BOOKED: The SDO of the irrigation department, Faiz Ganj taluka, registered a case against 18 people for their alleged involvement in water theft.
Those booked in the FIR include Aziz Awan, Abdul Sattar, Mashooq Ali Chang, Ali Dino Khaskheli, Talib Shar, Lutuf Ali Shar, Ghulam Hyder and Mujeeb Rajpar.
