The United Arab Emirates' minister for human resources while talking to the prime minister's aide for overseas Pakistanis Zulfiqar Bukhari has assured that the country will extend visas for Pakistani workers in the UAE, according to the ministry's spokesperson.

The minister further said that Pakistanis who had been laid off would be given their salaries in full. He added they would also be provided opportunities for virtual employment on a "priority basis". He also thanked Pakistan for "maintaining full contact and extending support".
