Pakistan Railways has decided to keep train operations suspended till April 24 due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country, APP reports.

This was announced by Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad in his video statement on Monday evening.

He said that due to the Covid-19 situation, the restoration of trains operation was postponed till Ramazan.

The minister added that before the resumption of operations, the situation would be reviewed thoroughly, and stressed that the operations would only be restored after getting permission from Prime Minister Imran Khan and other relevant departments.
