Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has directed the provincial health department to establish mobile testing facilities in Karachi's slum areas, for which he is ready to provide extra testing kits.
"A large number of coronavirus cases in Karachi are emerging from katchi abadies (slum areas)," he said, adding that people in slums live in very confined spaces and cannot observe social distancing or isolate properly.
"If people from slums test positive, they will be shifted to government-run isolation centres."
