President Alvi visits GB to review steps taken to curb virus spread

President Dr Arif Alvi visited Gilgit-Baltistan to review the steps taken by the government to curb the spread of the coronavirus, urging citizens to adopt precautionary measures.

During the visit, the president met with the governor and the chief minister and appreciated the efforts taken by the government to tackle the outbreak.

The president, who was also accompanied by the National Disaster Management Authority chairman, also handed over 15,000 testing kits and other protective equipment to the government.
