Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the government will take all possible measures to protect those medical professionals that are battling Covid-19 on the frontlines.

Addressing the media in Peshawar, the premier said: "According to global trends, the [spread] of the virus will increase in the next few days, which will put more pressure on the medical community.

"Right now our main objectives are protecting medical professionals and striking a balance between curbing the spread of the virus and keeping our economy running," he said.
