MIRAMSHAH, Aug 31: The political authorities sealed 52 shops in the Miradeen area of North Waziristan Agency on Wednesday after a tribe failed to hand over five wanted suspects to the security forces.
The authorities deployed Frontier Corps in the area located near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border after sealing the shops.
Officials said that the authorities had given a one-month deadline to the Zoai Saidgai tribe to capture five wanted suspects by Aug 30. The suspects are accused of attacking a military convoy in the area last month, killing one soldier and injuring five others.—Correspondent
