Drap allows use of alcohol, hydrogen peroxide and glycerol for hand sanitiser production

The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan has allowed the manufacturing of hand sanitisers by using glycerol, alcohol (ethanol) in an "aqueous solution denatured" or isopropyl alcohol in an "aqueous solution", and hydrogen peroxide.

Manufacturers are allowed to use the above-mentioned substances to produce hand sanitisers until July "only on campaign basis [...] with provisional permission of the Health & OTC Division".
